Is Yoga a Religion?

[/caption] Is Yoga a Religion? The short answer is no, Yoga is not a religion. If an outsider looks at people practicing yoga it may appear that this is a religious practice because many of the gestures and chants are similar to those practiced in religions. Yoga is practiced by people from all different faiths and none of those people claim that their yoga practice conflicts or interferes with there religious beliefs.
