My life is happening
January 02, 2013
As crazy as this may sound I think that the sense of fear also brings a feeling of safety with it.
We feel safe when we are hyper-vigilant and present.
So there we were, in the middle of the Chiang Mai mountains, the trekk road at some points was literally as wide as my hips.
I could hear the ocean-like sound of my breath, the only thing that mattered was where I stepped my foot next. I was in a very deep, meditative, state of mind.
It was then that I realized that fear and faith have very similar qualities.
They both govern our behavior and influence the way we feel. I decided to breathe out any negative, fearful, thought as I kept going, just like I do on my yoga mat.
4 hours later, we arrived at the campsite, where we shared stories with our new friends and a delicious dinner with the rest of the group.
I can't describe how amazing it felt when I told them about All You Can Yoga and the purpose of our trip. They were all excited to feel the yoga high!
I had a full class the next morning; even bigger than some of the classes I teach back home.
My life is happening. This project is happening! I feel blessed, happy, whole and complete.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
